If an Aftersales chat widget is being used to spam, scam, harass or impersonate, tell us and we will act on it.

For security vulnerabilities use the vulnerability process instead. For privacy and data requests, see making a request.

What to report

Report any widget or account being used for phishing or credential harvesting, fraud, malware distribution, spam, harassment or threats, impersonation of a person or business, content involving minors, or any other unlawful use.

If you are an end customer who spoke to a business through our widget and want your data removed, that business controls the conversation — contact them first. If you cannot reach them, we will route your request.

How to report

Email abuse@aftersales.co with as much of the following as you have: the website address where you saw the widget, the date and approximate time, what happened, and screenshots or a transcript if you have them.

Include a contact address if you want an acknowledgement. Anonymous reports are accepted and still investigated.

What happens next

Summary. Reports are triaged, investigated against the acceptable use terms, and actioned — which can mean a warning, suspension of the widget, or termination of the account. Reports involving immediate risk to a person are prioritised.

Timelines and process: [Insert the acknowledgement window, triage and escalation path, the appeals route for a suspended account, and who signs off termination. Provision the abuse@ mailbox before publishing.]

Summary. Requests from law enforcement, and subpoenas or court orders, should go to legal@aftersales.co rather than through this form.

Process: [Insert the law enforcement guidelines: accepted service methods, jurisdiction, the standard required for content vs. subscriber data, emergency disclosure process, and the user-notification policy. Have counsel review before publishing, and provision the legal@ mailbox.]
