Is HubSpot Service Hub still available in 2026?
Yes. Service Hub is an active HubSpot product, sold under the same name, and HubSpot keeps adding AI to it. Its product page describes it as customer service software that is AI-powered, omnichannel and connected to marketing and sales data on one customer platform. It has not been renamed, sold or sunset.
What has changed is how the AI is sold. HubSpot's AI agent for support, Customer Agent, now runs on HubSpot Credits and is priced per resolution. Service Hub also includes a help desk workspace, a customer success workspace with health scores, a knowledge base, a customer portal, feedback surveys and calling. Those are the pieces you are comparing when you look at an alternative.
Why do teams look for a HubSpot Service Hub alternative?
Most teams that leave Service Hub do not leave HubSpot. They keep the CRM for marketing and sales and look for a support tool that fits how their service team works. The common reasons:
- The AI agent needs Professional. HubSpot says Professional or Enterprise is required to use Customer Agent. Professional starts at $90 per seat a month on annual billing, plus a required one-time $1,500 onboarding fee.
- A CRM-first help desk. Service Hub is built around CRM records, pipelines and properties. Teams that want a support-first inbox, with one queue for chat, email, WhatsApp, SMS, phone and Slack Connect, sometimes find it heavy to configure.
- Answers more than actions. HubSpot says Customer Agent can take action in your CRM and Shopify. Teams whose top contacts are refunds and billing changes in Stripe want the AI to act there too, inside spend limits.
- Credits are another meter. Seats, onboarding fees, included credits and Pay-as-You-Go credits all affect the bill. Finance teams often ask for one unit cost per conversation.
- Quality at full coverage. Teams that want every AI and human conversation scored, not a sample, look for quality monitoring built into the support tool.
What should you look for in a HubSpot Service Hub alternative?
Start with how your service team spends its day, not with feature lists. If most of your volume is repeat questions and simple account tasks, the AI agent and its guardrails matter most.
- Resolution, not deflection. Ask how each vendor counts a resolution and what you pay when the AI hands off. See our guide to measuring resolution rate.
- Actions with limits. The AI should look up and change records through connectors with explicit, revocable permissions, and stop at a spend limit you set.
- Escalation rules you control. Sentiment, keywords, customer tier and legal language should all be able to trigger a handoff to a person.
- A clean handoff. The person who picks up should see the conversation, the data the AI looked up and what it already tried.
- CRM data in the inbox. If you keep HubSpot as your CRM, check how the new tool brings in account data. With Aftersales, that is done through the API or webhooks.
- A price you can model. Seats, AI fees, add-ons and onboarding, all published. Aftersales lists every price on its pricing page.

When is HubSpot Service Hub the better choice?
Service Hub is the better pick for many teams, and you should stay if these describe you.
- Your company runs on HubSpot. If marketing and sales already live in HubSpot, Service Hub puts tickets on the same records, deals and timelines with no sync to maintain.
- Customer success is a big part of the job. The customer success workspace, health scores and NPS surveys are built in. Aftersales does not offer a customer success workspace.
- AI price per resolution is your main lever. HubSpot lists Customer Agent at $0.50 per resolution, about half of Aftersales' $0.99. At high AI volume, that gap is real (see the cost example below).
- You want an AI voice agent. HubSpot prices Customer Agent on voice at $0.50 per minute. Aftersales offers phone for your human team on Growth and up.
- You need a customer portal. Service Hub includes a secure portal where customers can view their tickets.
- Two people, no budget. HubSpot's Free tools cover up to 2 users with ticketing and team email.
Aftersales Agent on its own runs inside Zendesk, Salesforce Service Cloud or Freshdesk, not inside HubSpot. If you are staying on Service Hub, use its own Customer Agent.
When is Aftersales the better choice?
Aftersales fits teams whose support volume is mostly customers who need something done, and who want AI and humans in one support-first workspace.
- AI that acts inside limits. Agent issues Stripe refunds, verifies Shopify orders and creates replacements, each step mapped to a connector with revocable permissions and spend limits.
- AI from the first plan. Agent is available on every plan, including Free with the first 50 resolutions included, so you do not need a Professional tier and an onboarding fee to start.
- Every conversation scored. Insights Monitors check quality on every conversation; Helio Energy saw quality scores rise 14 points after Monitors replaced sampling.
- One unit cost. Insights reports cost per conversation with seats, resolutions and channels in one number.
- Copilot for the human team. Copilot drafts replies that cite their sources, summarizes and translates in 31 languages. Teams using it on every conversation see a 2.4x faster median reply.
- Security on one tier. SSO, SAML and SCIM come on Scale; a BAA for HIPAA is on the Enterprise plan.

What does Aftersales cost compared to HubSpot Service Hub?
It depends on team size and AI volume. Small teams often pay less with Aftersales because AI is available on cheaper plans. At high AI volume, HubSpot's lower price per resolution can make it cheaper. Two examples using list prices and annual billing:
Example A: 3 reps, 500 AI resolutions a month
- Aftersales Starter: 3 seats x $24 = $72, plus 500 x $0.99 = $495. Total about $567 a month, no onboarding fee.
- HubSpot Service Hub Professional (needed for Customer Agent): 3 seats x $90 = $270, plus 500 x $0.50 = $250, minus the 3,000 included credits ($30 at $0.01 each). About $490 a month, plus the $1,500 onboarding fee in year one.
- First year: Aftersales about $6,804; HubSpot about $7,380.
Example B: 10 reps, 1,800 AI resolutions a month
- Aftersales Growth: 10 x $69 = $690, plus 1,800 x $0.99 = $1,782. Total about $2,472 a month.
- HubSpot Professional: 10 x $90 = $900, plus 1,800 x $0.50 = $900, minus $30 of included credits. About $1,770 a month, plus $1,500 onboarding.
- First year: Aftersales about $29,664; HubSpot about $22,740.
Assumptions: list prices checked October 2026, annual billing, no add-ons on either side, and included credits spent only on Customer Agent. The two vendors define a resolution differently: HubSpot counts a conversation the agent handled that was not handed to a person for 72 hours, or a lead it qualified; Aftersales counts once per conversation and charges nothing when Agent can't help. Your resolution rate on each tool will matter more than the list price, so test both on real conversations.
How do you switch from HubSpot Service Hub to Aftersales?
Most teams keep HubSpot as their CRM and move only the service workload. A typical plan:
- Export what you need. Pull ticket history, knowledge base articles and canned responses from Service Hub before your renewal date.
- Load Knowledge. Import help center content into Aftersales Knowledge so Agent, Copilot and the help center share one source.
- Connect your systems. Connect Shopify, Stripe, Salesforce, Slack or Jira where you use them. Bring HubSpot CRM data into the Inbox through the Aftersales API or webhooks, and confirm specific connectors on a call.
- Write procedures. Describe your top five conversation types in plain language or import existing macros. Set spend limits and escalation rules for sentiment, keywords, tier and legal language.
- Rebuild routing. Recreate queues, SLAs and assignment rules in Inbox and Workflows. Most teams finish migration in an afternoon; on Growth and Scale, Aftersales runs it with you.
- Run a shadow week. Let Agent draft without sending, review transcripts, then turn on one channel at a time.
- Move channels last. Point your chat widget, support email and WhatsApp to Aftersales once results hold, then downgrade Service Hub seats.
