What does Freshdesk charge on top of seats?
- Freddy AI Agent sessions: 500 included, then $49 per 100 sessions.
- Freddy Copilot: $29 per agent per month billed annually, Pro and Enterprise only.
- Day passes: $2, $7 or $12 per pass for occasional agents.
- Connector app tasks: $80 per 5,000 tasks.
- MCP actions: $15 per 1,000 actions.
Note that Freddy bills per session, while Aftersales bills per resolution, so compare on what you pay for an actually resolved conversation.

On list price Freshdesk is cheaper. The real question is how many sessions end in a resolution versus a handoff; if Freddy resolves far fewer than half, cost per resolution rises. Aftersales does not charge for conversations Agent cannot help with.

Is Freshdesk worth the price?
Freshdesk is good value and the better pick for budget-conscious teams that want classic ticketing at a low per-agent price, especially on the Growth plan.
It is less compelling when you need an AI agent that takes actions such as Shopify order changes and Stripe refunds under guardrails. You can keep Freshdesk and add Aftersales Agent inside it, with no seats or migration, at $0.99 per resolution with a minimum monthly commitment.
